I have developed documentation for various corporate structures and procedures. Noted below are examples from Desjardins Insurance, Labatt, Tim Hortons, and Rexall. In 2018, I led a presentation about marketing department initiatives to approximately 50 Account Managers within the company to encourage innovation across client platforms.
In addition to my corporate experience, I have served in the public sector. Huronia Historical Parks is a popular destination for GTA escapees, offering scenic views into the vitality of the Georgian Bay terrain. Emboldened by Canadian heritage, visitors learned about Aboriginal ancestry and War of 1812 history. With my role, I would answer inquires from the public, guide education groups, and instruct seasonal staff.
I made a low-fidelity prototype of a social network built on voice not visuals.
Its purpose was to showcase the quality of ideas from the visually-impaired community and increase their participation on a global platform. Made compatible with screen readers, it was the outcome of literature reviews, facility tours, and interviews with low-vision individuals.
EyeConnect is built on a high contrast, memorable grid interface that enables users to record their voice, as well as post, search, and save other voice messages. Ideal for podcasts, tutorials, and personal greetings, EyeConnect supports access to social media popular content. As an alternative to Facebook/Instagram (driven by images) and Twitter (driven by text), EyeConnect is driven by voice.
I have attended the last 3 semi-annual trade shows to engage with Store Managers about their online portal for custom flyer distribution. Through anecdotal feedback, we improved the customer experience through many iterations. I was also responsible for creating the marketing materials surrounding the event. To follow-up on our interactions, I also created multiple tutorial videos.
